Mrs. Johnson was born in Toledo, Ohio.  She graduated from The University of Toledo, (B.A., 1993) and The University of Toledo College of Law (J.D., 1996)

She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1996.  She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, Western Division.

She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Toledo Bar Association.
